The Value of The FAN Group
The FAN GROUP is an agency providing property management workforce job training programs for Washington, DC, Wards 7 and 8 youth ages 17-24. We prevent at-risk youth unemployment by providing highly employable property management skills in a blazing-hot Washington, DC real estate market, introduce youth to employable job markets in their communities, and provide local high schools with an early job training and credit earning program.
About Me
A certified property manager, investor, realtor, and education, Fillip Nelson, M. Ed, is a distinguished expert in Washington, DC, real estate management.
Fillip has worked with America’s top real estate management firms, from The Bozzuto Group to Morgan Properties.
After analyzing both Washington, DC’s development plans, and the need for immediate post high school youth employment—Fillip founded The FAN GROUP to address the 3E’s Entrepreneurialism, Education, and Employment. By focusing on youth employment and exposure to careers and opportunities in real estate management, we can increase DC youth employment, and decrease DC youth crime.
Pathway to Increase Youth Employment by Improving the 3E’s

The FAN GROUP forges local property management companies to partner with local school districts to provided high school students with access and exposure to early career opportunities and helped them overcome the obstacles that often stand in the way of success.
